What IS a Khan of Tarkir?

Ready to try out your new Khans of Tarkir cards? Well good, because we’re having a Magic the Gathering BRAWL on Saturday, October 18 (tomorrow!) at 2 pm in the Teen Room.

Bring your decks, your skills, and your excellent manners because this is an all ages (kids and teens, no adults) event. Prizes will be won, fun will be had.

a very Funky Bunch Teen Movie Night

Teen Movie Night is on Wednesday at 6 pm for grades 6 and up. Be prepared for Autobots and Marky Mark. Feel free to bring your own snacks!

We aren’t an old fashioned library and we want to keep it that way. Do you like all of the extra services and programs that the WFPL offers? All that is possible through grants, donations, and gifts to the library. Help keep it going and cast your vote for us in the Watertown Savings Bank Customer Choice Awards.

Teen Game Time is back!

At 3 pm today we’ll be breaking out the Xbox or Wii U, your choice.

HAPPY TEEN READ MONTH!

Why have one week celebrating books for teens / teens reading / just books / just reading / all of the above (Teen Read Week). Why not expand it INTO A WHOLE MONTH. WITH PRIZES!

Yes, prizes. Yes, fun reading (non-required, non-school, just because).

Here’s how it works:

1. Read a book.

2. Fill out a very easy / simple / fun review form.

3. Every review enters you into a drawing for MYSTERY PRIZES. We have lots, so read up.

This will go on for the entire month of October. Eligible books should have been read between September 17 and October 31. Ask us if you have questions!

It’s Faire on the Square! Be sure to stop in the Teen Room for a game of Risk or Clue when it gets too hot outside!

Also of note, there will be NO MtG BRAWL today, there’s too much fun to be had outside.

THIS MOVIE WILL MAKE YOU CRY.

Teen Movie Night is tomorrow (9/24) at 6 pm. BE PREPARED TO CRY! IT’S A SAD SAD MOVIE THAT PEOPLE LOVE. AND CRYING.
